COMMUNITY CENTER - WELLAWATTA
Wellawattha is highly dense urban residential area of the Colombo city. Peoples living in urban situation, they lifestyle manly limited only to the own house located in congested urban plot. But considering social development, social interactions are only way of it can be achieve. Therefore make better healthful society generating social relationships at every level very important.
Community is intermediate level of the family and whole society. All peoples enter to broader setting of the society through the community relationships. Therefore make better social relationships within the entire society firstly strengthen the community. Community center is providing spaces to generating social relationships within the community. It could be act as catalyst for the generating varies relationships within community
LOCATION AND SITE. - Adjoining site to the Rudra playground.

Pedestrian ramp leads to the entrance level of the stepped podium of the building. Treated like rising earth, covered by trees stepped podium view and tower located on it give human friendly feeling and prepare proud of own space of community within the urban congested situation.
About to enter.
Tunnel way projected out stepped podium at
entrance level give enter point to the internal activities of the community
center. Stepped podium caters all peoples of the society, but community center
is mainly catered for specific social group. Tunnel quality entry point located
vast open podium give well come feeling for specific social group of community
center.
