Flag for Sri Lanka Institute of Architects.

Flag is a symbol represents and communicates identity and spatial of the related country, organization, or institute, and its symbolically express community and unity.
Sri Lanka institute of architects is one and only organization represents the sir Lankan architects. It is mainly involved to create the good environment for architecture. And it’s give pure and organized frame to generate the good architecture within Sri Lanka. This is the main task and identity of the Sri Lanka institute of architects.
I think above clarification must express through the new flag design to suite the all the environment.
We can simply define architecture as an art form for creating spaces. These spaces mainly cater for peoples and all creations erected on the earth / environment.  Therefore peoples and earth is main parties of the architecture. Right balance between these two parties is the main strategy for generating the good architecture of in any situation.
In my flag design I am express symbolically right balance between peoples and environment and how to Sri Lanka institute of architects involve to create this balance.

Maroon color

Shine maroon color spared 2/3 of the flag. It’s representing CULTURE of every person. Culture is expressing peoples all qualities and values as a theme.
Architecture and architects are the parts of the culture of every society, name of the institute put on the balance space of this color patch to communicate above situation.
Maroon color as a color gives an elegant look for the flag.

Earth color

Matt earth color covered 1/3 of the flag. This color is representing the earth. All natural things of the environment such as soil, water, wind, sun, belong to the earth. This color expressing all natural environments related to the architecture.

Pure white color border

Pure white color border demarcate main two colors patches of the flag. It is symbolically represent pure and correct relationship for generate the good architecture. This border penetrates to the color patch as roots to emphasize the above concept.
This border enhances the traditional quality of the flag.
